This is a personal project I have been working on beside school lately, a game prototype of LEGO City where you can build and destroy Lego objects !
This project was really fun as I got to create everything from scratch, including coding all of it in blueprint which was almost a first for me. The big challenge here was animating lego pieces individually without any animation or bones, only through the material's Vertex displacement. It was a ton of fun and I hope you enjoyed this post !
Special thanks to Yann Miguet and Lowenn Berthet for helping me throughout this project, here are their accounts :

LEGO City Game Prototype
Each Brick is individually animated even though they are not separated or related to bones. The animation is made through the Material's vertex displacement.
The Houdini Lego meshes are linked to the Blueprint Actor with easy control over the Blueprint
Shader complexity and FPS averaging around 120 FPS

All of LEGO City was fully made from the Houdini Lego Tool
